Last year we had over 50 young adults join us for the first young adult united conference. We had young adults from Gracepoint Church, Church of Love, Citypeace Church, Cornerstone Church and other local churches. Given that the young adult Christian population from 18-mid 30's is the lowest percentage makeup of the church, we see the importance and necessity of having a conference such as this to encourage, sharpen and equip young adults in the local Philadelphia area to come together for His Kingdom.
This year we will have Pastor Doug Logan as the guest speaker for the young adult united conference. Doug Logan plays the role of “Connections Pastor” and “Church Plant Resident” at Epiphany Fellowship. He and Angel, his lovely wife, have been married for nearly 14 years and have three handsome sons (Bernie-21, Aharon-12, Avery-11). Doug and his family have served in Philly for nearly 7 years. First as a part of a Church re-plant in the Kensington section of the city, Calvary Bible Church and later as an interim pastor of Liberti church-Roxborough. Pastor Doug is an ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and he also serves on the leadership team at Philadelphia’s historic Tenth Presbyterian Church. He is currently finishing his Masters of Divinity Degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Washington DC.
